At Pines Brook, we value the ministry of the Word of God in the life of our church. The Scripture teaches that God’s Word is exceedingly pure, forever settled in heaven, and profitable to equip all people for godly living. (Psalm 119:140, 89; 2 Timothy 3:16-17). It is the incorruptible seed by which all people can be saved and made right with God (1 Peter 1:23). In fact, Jesus said that every Word of God was necessary for genuine spiritual life (Matthew 4:4). And so, we are compelled to make much of God’s Word.
