The extreme worth of something or the incalculable value of a person or cause is sometimes measured in the phrase “worth dying for”. This is especially true of the gospel of Christ. Jesus communicated in Mark 1:15, that the gospel is so valuable and of such an eternal treasure, that it merits the repentance of any and all people in order to participate in its glorious benefits.
